Rhythmic in structure with deep bass grounded in dub, breaks and 4/4 beats of the modern electro-dance floor, calling old ’80.The digital patterns and textures of club music are still detectable for those with sharp enough ears.
Hole EP carrying clear-cut recognizable artist sound and some minimalist, bubbling themes. Ominous but still beautiful; a minor distraction of darkling beetle, otherwise intriguing release.

This is an EP Nichts and Cursed Chimera wrote back in 2007 has been dusted off and mastered at the L.A.M.P Mobile Studios in Seattle. A collaborative effect that features the fusion of hardware electronics and computer glitch programming. Nichts has been Backwards Record’s propaganda agent for the last eight years or so, releasing in 2005 “The Red Scare”. Establishing his ability to write moody instrumental music with Industrial strength beats, Nichts truly has no peers when it comes to squeezing the most out of broken drum machine, or a damaged synthesizer. He is notorious for taking broken instruments and creating music that shames similar artists using the most high tech gear and sophisticated studio equipment. Cursed Chimera, the Seattle via Anaheim terror noise blast artist that glitches with no compromises. He took the tape recordings of Nichts and ran them through the digital ringer. Mangling melodies and bitcrushing beats supplied by Nichts for Cursed Chimera’s delight, they both manage to make a Noise/Glitch/IDM album worth being hailed with the greats of Merzbow, Aphex Twin, and Skinny Puppy. I’m sure you’ll have little deaths over and over again listening to this powerful EP.

After previously releasing on Kahvi, Mikael Fyrek could be called ‘a regular’ – this ep, his fourth, is a classic example of the defining style of Mr Fyrek, good solid beats, a touch of elektro and a touch of Vangelis. An icey theme and perhaps even slightly disturbed state of mind can be seen from the track names, conveying intense emotions through music. A thoroughly enjoyable, intense, atmospheric and involving ep running at around thirty minutes ‘A thousand years and one’ is a great addition to the collective. Recommended track: My lips are turning blue.
We see us as an innovator and we go new ways every time we can. In this sense we release this compilation of harder tracks like oldschool rotterdam hardcore and early nineties inspired happy hardcore.
We know that harder tracks or hardcore in the netlabel world are rather unusual, but we don’t bend us the mainstream of fucking mnml music like boring “clicker clacker”.
