We are thrilled. Our small digital label celebrates the fifteenth completed release in the “Free-Segment” of Vekton Musik. We are proud and thankful about the friendly connection to all associate artists, which provides us with first-class music since the label foundation. We combined compilation with unreleased material up to now, which brings together our international artists and his songs on “Stero Park”. We are talking about peoples like the young Adrian Garza from Mexico, who is always surprising us with his new track material. Also our french connection to Bruno & Lorenzo better known as “Saccobros”. They produce with “Cabaret” a special wonderful song for the compilation. Philipp Wolgast from the german based label Kompass Musik, is with a fabulous song also present on “Stereo Park”. We got spanish support from Population Zero. Once again he produced a lovely tune for the label. Rafael Gómez has only been with our label for a short time. He already collaborates with Substatic and Treibstoff Recordings. He enriches the compilation with a gorgeous minimal house song. An exquisite track from Mandy, a delicious song from Schulz, attractive tunes from Exec and a fascinating minimal composition from the argentine Dirty Room…this is what makes “Stereo Park” so wonderful and manifold.
Enjoy!!

Monika Pich – Day by Day [rith009]
Friday, September 26th, 2008This last EP, short but intense, is a conceptual work, unique, a prototype. Monikapich shows her way to understand music. Aided with her computer, her sensual voice, and a couple of well chosen samples, dictates her rhythm, sometimes like a toy, sometimes tenebrous (even squalid), but without loosing the way of our releases. Enjoy.

Tomoko Sauvage and Gilles Aubry – “At Ausland”
Thursday, September 25th, 2008Tomoko Sauvage and Gilles Aubry — “Apam Napat”
Sounds like microtonal, free-improvised…
Tomoko Sauvage improvises on waterbowls, a self-developed percussion instrument made of Chinese porcelain bowls filled with water, inspired by an instrument of carnatic music (South India), Jalatarangam. The serene sound and melodies are live-sampled and slightly processed by Gilles Aubry to create new layers of sound mixed with the original ones. This polyphonic interplay between primitive sound of water vibration and its time-lagged samples generates illusory vertigo.

ca168 – EXurban – Makrolid – EP
Thursday, September 25th, 2008Artist: EXurban
Title: Makrolid – EP
ca168
Date: 2008-09-25
Keywords: experimental; ambient; field recording; drone; electronica
Tracklist:
01 – Extrazellularraum – 7:00 (320 kbps)
02 – Makrolid – 6:59 (320 kbps)
03 – Wandsprenger – 7:17 (320 kbps)
04 – Remission – 7:49 (320 kbps)
The MAKROLID EP describes a process of an antibiosis with one sort of antibiotics called Makrolid. The order of the tracks characterizes the real process of the anastasis in four states. The translation of this anastasis into a process of the inner state of mind is the most significant aspect for us in this context.
All tracks are produced by EXurban 2008
EXurban is an experimental music and visual art project from Berlin.
With the project “EXurban” we began to deal with the photographic/visual realisation of experimental contents and ex-urban rooms as basis for our musical soundscapes. We are associating our impressions of forgotten places (e.g. abandoned hospitals or factories) with multiple media, for example music, photography and film, and recording real-sound (field recording) from those places to bring such noises and “silence”-sounds into one, comprehensible media to share this and to present our emotions and pictures in our minds.
Other states, e.g. the state of mind or medical states, are focused in this project. The last component of our work is the integration of our self written texts and lyric.

RB041 – Julien Skrobek – Pays Natal
Wednesday, September 24th, 2008Julien Skrobek – Pays Natal
![]()
Julien Skrobek was born in Paris. As a teacher, he naturally became interested in the process of memorization and his work revolves around the relation between music, silence and memory. The main question it asks is: If I hear a note of music, when do I need to hear the next one in order to be able to build upon its trace?
“Pays Natal” works with that question over a duration of 35 minutes. It’s a meditative experience and a test for listening habits. You hear short drones, little tone-sketches and long sequences of silence. It’s a deep and fragile work which needs a lot of attention. But it regives you a clear and bright state of mind.
Perhaps the best way to listen to it is with headphones and closed eyes. Please enjoy.
