In recent years, as computer technology has become more accessible and music software has advanced, interacting with music production technology is now possible using means that bear no relationship to traditional musical performance practices: for instance, laptop performance (laptronica) and live coding. In the last decade a number of software-based virtual studio environments have emerged. These software-based music production tools provide viable and cost-effective alternatives to typical hardware-based production studios, and thanks to advances in microprocessor technology, it is now possible to create high quality music using little more than a single laptop computer. Such advances have democratized music creation, leading to a massive increase in the amount of home-produced music available to the general public via the internet. Artists can now also individuate their sound by creating personalized software synthesizers, effects modules, and various composition environments. Devices that once existed exclusively in the hardware domain can easily have virtual counterparts. In some sense, as a result of technological innovation, the DIY mentality that was once a core part of dance music culture is seeing a resurgence. //wikipedia.com
The akashic records (akasha is a Sanskrit word meaning “sky”, “space” or “aether”) is a term used in theosophy (and Anthroposophy) to describe a compendium of mystical knowledge encoded in a non-physical plane of existence. These records are described as containing all knowledge of human experience and the history of the cosmos. They are metaphorically described as a library; other analogues commonly found in discourse on the subject include a “universal computer” and the “Mind of God”. People who describe the records assert that they are constantly updated and that they can be accessed through astral projection. //wikipedia.com

If you rely on the cover, you will certainly think that you have here something sweet or fluffy… think again! ValkyR is dark, heavy and powerful. Its industrial Dubstep will plunge you into the deepwater of a muddy lake, and you’ll need to fight against yourself to have a chance to get out of there. And then if you succeed, you will be close to paradise. So, thousand colors will be offered to you, and as blowed by wind, the confusion generated by this war will disappear… Good luck!
Cagey House creates ethereal and energetic instrumental music. Cagey House music has been featured on over one hundred alternative-oriented music podcasts, and also used as background, bumper, and theme music on many other non-music-oriented shows. Have had a couple of net-releases through Nishi, Umor-rex, Dog Eared, bumpfoot, and a few other netlabels.
B for Breakfast is Cagey House’s latest production. The album has varied between being kind of pop/rock-ish and instrumental experiments. All the tracks focused on melody and rhythm, but with lots of unexpected twists and turns, and with some dada-style vocal samples mutually interacting.
