[AE043] Rafal Fürst – Huta

Tuesday, May 31st, 2011

Now we can declare that the original, real, tasty dark and industrial techno has 3 empires in Europe: Spain, Poland, the United Kingdom… This time, we bring you the latest and finest tunes from Silesia (Poland): recently discovered by Furanum Records, Rafal Fürst is a new face in the Polish dark techno scene. Holding a preference for dark, offbeat techno, he began his musical career as a DJ in 2009. From the production side, Rafal’s main focus lies in minimalistic and offbeat structures, coupled with dark rhythmic textures and deep spacious backgrounds. His first release appears on Furanum Rec Fu006 as a remix of D.Müller’s ‘Powerplant’. HUTA means Ironworks in Polish. This title is perfectly fit to the content.

[PGZ105] Caiano & F Red – No Matter What EP

Monday, May 30th, 2011

105 release in Progrezo Records, comes from three European DJs and producers based in Portugal, CAIANO, F RED, and D’JOSEPH, who presents their brand new EP entitled “NO MATTER WHAT”, featuring 4 overwhelming and big room Tech House and Techno tracks, aimed straight to the dance floor, from warm up to peak-time DJ sets.

Caiano started to grow interest in electronic music when he was 14 and a year later he bought his first decks. He began mixing drum n bass in friends party’s and small clubs in Porto, moving to techno/tech house scene actually.

His influences goes from deep/dark techno to groovy/tech house, doing a solid combination between these genres in his dj sets and productions.

Currently he spends most of the studio time with F Red, since they moved in together for academic purposes.

F Red as nown as Fred, has been involved in electronic music for almost six years now, starting by mixing drum n bass with some school friends. Over the years, electronic has gained more and more meaning in Fred’s daily routine, mainly when he moved in with Caiano.

Sharing the studio, F Red and Caiano are now focused on the Techno/Tech House dancefloor sounds. The main influences vary from deep/dark beats to cheerful and groovy basslines, combining different styles in his dj sets.

D’Joseph has been into electronic dance scene for almost seven years, starting by mixing drum n bass records at some friends house’s, D’Joseph quickly got the attention of everyone as a promising Dj. He began playing in small local clubs in Porto and as his music changed into a more groove and soulful vibes, he soon met Techno and House Music around 2009. As is knowledge in this whole “new” scene went deeper and deeper he soon started having his own influences. In his DJ sets you will find a very wide and consistant tracklist, full of dancefloor groovy sounds.

3.- Using Will to refer determination or faculty.

This record it’s about my musical willingness. Searching through my most deeply paths…curiously, where I’m not alone.

This record was possible thanks to the “Willpower” of great musicians and better friends:
