Alchemy Music Festival was launched in 2011 and was shaped after Mauro Picotto’s own vision. The first edition was a success, with more than 2,000 young and old music lovers coming to see the world class music DJs in the beautiful countryside scenery of Cavour, in Piemont.
The ladies of Cavour were especially excited about the event, as the organisers were on a mission to find the Face of Cavour for the Alchemy Festival. The search party can now rest as we have our winners.
As you probably know, we’ve been announcing the winners of the Harthouse ‘Boris Brejcha’ Remix & Design Contest via FOEM’s Facebook fan page over the last few days. Many of you have followed our every post with your fingers crossed, but some may have missed it so we’ll do a round up right here and now.
First of all, congrats to Pertsel for delivering this awesome artwork and winning the design contest! This will serve as the official cover design for Boris Brejcha “Schaltzentrale” The Remixes, including credits to the author ofc.

Substream is currently hosting a remix contest for the new single of beloved Detroit-based electro-punk-pop band Lettercamp. Es gibt hochbegabte Schüler/innen und es gibt hochbegabte Musiker/innen, die man in jungen Jahren fördern muss. Zwei davon sind sicherlich JULIEN FALK (14/Drum) und TIM SCHATTAT (15/Git). Die AgenturMMM gründet eine “U16-Young-Talent-Band”.
Bereits im Jahr 2011 wurde die AgenturMMM auf den begabten Drummer “JULIEN FALK” (14) aus Hofheim aufmerksam und nahm diesen 5 Jahre unter Exklusivvertrag.
Viele Medien wie LabelTV, NachtfahrtTV, Frankfurter Rundschau, Höchster Kreisblatt und sogar die ARD zeigten Interesse an dem jungen Talent, der bereits im Alter von 3 Jahren mit chinesischen Essstäbchen auf allem trommelte, was gut klang.
Ende 2011 wurde die Agentur auf den Jung-Gitarrist “TIM SCHATTAT” (15) aus Hofheim aufmerksam, der bereits schon viele Jahre mit Julien musiziert.
Die Leidenschaft zur Musik wuchs über die gesamte Kindheit über gemeinsame Jamsessions zusammen – Eine Jugendliebe der ganz besonderen Art.
Im Jahre 2012 gründet nun die AgenturMMM eine “U 16 – Best-Talents-Band” in Hessen über mehrere Castings.
Julien Falk (14) und Tim Schattat (15) sind sich für Deutschland sicher – “wir zeigen’s euch, dass wir’s drauf haben”.
Congratulations to Gerald Bailey, Tom Block and Richard Broom (Lowry) on winning the EEP EEP EEP EP remix contest. Their tracks along with a handful of others, will be exhibited at the Fach & Asendorf Gallery from January 4th 2012.
Rajeev Basu, the artist behind the project adds, ‘The standard of entries was extremely high. It shows how limitations can really boost creativity. I hope it encourages artists to question their process and continue to experiment.’
