A long wait results in funk
symbiont-music presents the release no. 26:

Gitte Verfuehrt – Zwischenraum & Zeit

download here

The music-lover Gitte Verfuehrt comes along casual and delicate, infecting us with his gentle adaption of acoustic and electronic. 4 enticing tracks with funky guitar riffs an jazzy pianos, combined with swinging percussions and rich basslines vault immediately into the world of Gitte Verfuehrt´s sound aesthetics.

He is supported by Samuel Fach, whose release Simple Pleasure (tok016) meteoric predicated it´s position among decks Top10 in summer 2011.

The outcome of a long and acribic work is a release, which pre-eminently bribes with its organic and winsome synthesis of sound, far away from lusterless and pure functional arrangements. So Gitte Verfuehrt shows up, that there are more possibilities between space and time, than the hearing expects.

1. Zeit (original Mix)
„Zeit“ comes up with jigging bass, swinging and perfectly timed inviting the open and gentle Fender Rhodes, to create a warm-hearted rolling step dance in rhythmical accomplishment.

2. Zwischenraum (original Mix)
„Zwischenraum“ melts organs and guitars and create a funky mixture of „soon-come“ attitude and apparently never ending cheerfulness. Unerringly percussive elements thrill the listener straight into a jazzy jamsession, whichs tribute to the lightheartedness of musical expression is unmistakable.

3. Zeit (Samuel Fach Rmx)
Samuel Fach interprets „Zeit“ for the benefit of the stage that is the world and creates flirring heat with straighter rhythms, pumping offbeat bass , forcing the condense moisture to the clubceiling.

4 . Zwischenraum (Kapitel Sekt Rmx)
As „Kapitel Sekt“ appears, the seducing countenance of another ensemble penned by the creator himself arises. Leading with kind of freeriding disentanglements to a nearly physical outcoming electro-jazz-band, the track once more shows Gitte Verfuehrt’s musical well-engineered skills.

Shaula is a lady from Japan who makes beautiful and rich melodic electroacoustic ambience made from processed instrumental passages and guitar harmonics. Medusae is the Japanese translation for jellyfish who’s nature is to just drift the ocean, in turn giving a hint to the music contained within. Shaula is best known for her debut album ‘Haze’, released on Under The Spire as well as ep’s released on Audio Gourmet and Time Released Sound.

The first edition was a success, with more than 2,000 young and old music lovers coming to see the world class music DJs in the beautiful countryside scenery of Cavour, in Piemont.

The ladies of Cavour were especially excited about the event, as the organisers were on a mission to find the Face of Cavour for the Alchemy Festival. The search party can now rest as we have our winners.

Fact is that the just nineteen-year-old female artist from russian St. Petersburg “Nadejda Goes To Stardom” (Nadejda Orlowa) develops rapidly to a seriously increasing female electronic music producer, one could already recognise by her preceding publications clearly. With theirs very inteligent and freshly sounding Release, she shows us once more that her musical development and her talent, still long ago aren’t in the limit. We are already very much tensely which wonderful surprises will still follow. Till then we take pleasure in her great “Hoffnung EP”.

4 tracks. Tech-, Deep-, Dub-, House. Free Download. Diametral Network

The third free release on Diametral Network this time comes from our well knownartist FALLHEAD. “The Other Side” is a very special release with sounds you maybe never expected to hear from Fallhead. Starting with “Sound of the Hood” a fast driven Techhouse track combined with jazz and funk elements for a really big groove.

“Thinks” instead coming from that deephouse und dubfields, epic, timeless with a great vocoded voice. With “Spoils System” its time for the oldschool 808 electro, apathic and monumental. Last but not least we got “Vernom83” for you, a minimal tech track with a lot of confused and hypnotic sounds for that special moments.

Enjoy this great and varied EP, download, listen, share and thx for your support !!!

Artist: Sincope
Title: Close Moving EP
Genre: Ambient
Release on: 27/01/2012

Sometimes time stops off. Then it starts up again and you wish it run faster, but at the same time you would like to block it. Emotions chase it, as they are synthesized in the debut by Sincope with our netlabel. The atmosphere of the brand new release by the Florence-based duo moves the ambient horizons. Everytime you’ll listen to “Close Moving” you’ll leave for an introspective trip surrounded by darkness and melancholy. This release reminds memories, experiences, that you would not have thought they could re-emerge in your mind, as well as shadow zones unraveling during the listening of the other tracks of the records “Closedowns” and “Fiction”. Deep the piano line that comes up in the videoclip “Close Moving” (which seems to go back to Brian Eno in his golden age) and the synthesis of percussions and far voices that make the track a mix of total trasport and intensity. Sostanze Records is proud to present a release that will make you thinking, something that will stay a long time in your playlists. Warm hearts.

8 tracks. #Electronic, #lefrenk, #frances lerouge. rawmatroid

Some things are more complex than they seem at first glance, and to fully explain them it is sometimes difficult, therefore, far better to explain them in parts. Armed still had fantasy to distil and proof of that is this “Destilado de Nuestra Imaginación”, homogeneous extension of the first concept “Mi Cabeza Está Llena de Fantasía”.

“Cyberdelian Symphony of Ages“ opens this LP as a look back over the years of the Andalusian producer. Cyberdelic psychedelia in breaks mode, always marking a personal melodic load.

“South Nocum“ is one of those songs that emerge from a few simple chords on a night of insomnia and does not get completed until, after more than a year and many mutations, founds its final form and ends becoming one of the strongest convictions of the author. Emotional notes accompanying the rythms that introduce them until melodic pads raise the song.

“SDMV“ begins without hiding anything of what may happen later; forcefulness and depth for the third original track, where different sonorous textures are mixed, meaning the Armed version of what might be mental techno, dance for thought.

With “Legendary Song” ends the first part of the album and is presented under the label of I.D.M., electronic or neotrance, the taste that makes this track is certainly special.

Biconnection are the authors of the beginning of the second part of “Mi Cabeza Está Llena de Fantasía“. His arpeggios and translations of the original melodies made their unmistakable style also ??in this version.

Frances Lerouge gives us a more focused on the dance floor track in his “Bicos & Apertas Mix” of “South Nocum”, a relaxed and beautiful tune, which also contributes with its two cents in the variety of styles of the LP.

David Inexacte debuts in Rawmatroid with a reinterpretation of “SDMV”, with a personal set of reverbs in percussions travelling on multiple depths hand in hand with slowed melodies creating it’s own soundscape and wonderfully deep.

Lefrenk take charge of placing an end to this reference, preserving the ideas and feelings of original “Legendary Song“, and adding forcefulness, rhythm and his fine identity to the mix.

This is our way to present you this new netlabel LP, our 14th release in Rawmatroid Club, a work full of personality, emotion and painted with a variety of colors through the vision of 5 different artists.

2 techno tracks. Buy at Beatport. Progrezo Records

Coming from Italy, The Zars are a dance-electronic duo formed by Alex Tessarolo and pAd. Both artists focuses to play only vinly in their DJ sets adding different sources to performance their own productions with live vocals support.

Their sets move easily from techno-dub to house connected by a deep and dedicated raw touch getting a new level with Detroit House sound. Zars’ music is made of contrasts and oppositions that tend to create rather than destroy: club stuff vs chamber music, techno vs house, black vs white, a Mediterranean pounding heart vs a northern European mind-set the past and the future, that contrast better known as the present.

The Zars have played at several venues in Rome like the ones of Brancaleone, Circolo degli Artisti, Muzak, NYlon, Atelier 35, Locanda Atlantide, Roma Vintage, Nissan Juke Energy Village, and the RGB events with guests like Octave One and Joris Voorn at Brancaleone in winter 2010.

Debutant the Zars delivers on the Progrezo Records 175th installment, their brand new EP Klimt Eastwood, featuring two original tracks of sophisticated Techno beats, infected with Detroit House elements.

‘Klimt Eastwood’ opens the spectrum with hypnotic ride-hats releasing a dynamic tech rhythm along with an infected male voice over solid kick-drum, bringing a progressive environment of trippy acid-techno with strong bass-line and psychedelic synth shades.

Definitely a track that brings together cutting-edge ambience and stomped rhythm with high quality elements from modern techno-beats next to best Detroit spirit, characteristic of the last century.

‘Matteo’ starts with elegance calm, doing a subtle break to prepare its music arsenal for a trippy tech journey. Infected and malicious, it drives through different states adding mad acid-synth lines, sick voices and percussion-rides, surrounded by a vacuum ambience aimed straight to the dance floor.

A memorable track for classy techno DJ sets.

“My bootleg” is a recording of laura mura’s concert at Alkestis theatre (Cagliari, November 6th, 2011), so small, yet perfect for her show. She had arranged her good music with few instruments, many toys, a great deal of wizardry.

Hello. Symbiostic would like to introduce you to this special Balkan, Gipsy Datscha EP called Rabota Takaja (A Damn Killer) with Remixes by Lennart Vonau, Teenage Mutants, Nick Haze and Wolfgang Lohr. The Original Song, produced by Wolfgang Lohr, belongs to the Soundtrack of the Short Movie “A Damn Killer” (http://www.adamnkiller.com)

As an accomplished trumpet player and vocalist Wolfgang Lohr has toured extensively with bands throughout Germany for the last fifteen years. More recently he devoted himself to producing and mixing for other bands and musicians. Apart from his own music on lables such as Satelitt Digital (Berlin), PR Underground (Sweden) and Symbiostic (Berlin), he has done remixes for artists such as Madness, Round Table Knights, Invisible Brothers, Roby Howler and Teenage Mutants.

Three Edits and Remixes were produced by Lennart Vonau from Lübeck, well known as a former part from DJ’s@Work, who stormed the Top Ten of Media Control Charts in 2001 with ‘Someday’. This was followed by attaining a VIVA/ZDF Cometen for the Best National Dance Act in 2002. Lennart produced Remixes for Rosenstolz, Patrick Bunton and more. (http://www.discogs.com/artist/Lennart+Vonau)

Another Remix comes from Teenage Mutants. Pascal Klank and Kristian Samujlo from Mainz / Hamburg are part of the new German wave of producers. Their debut release ‘Africa…Boombasa!’ climbed directly into the Top 40 Beatport chart and garnered support from US, UK, French and Russian blogs. Their tracks have received support from Don Rimini, Fuckkk Offf, Cyberpunkers, Tonka, Theaston Shuffle, Mustard Pimp, Sono and Shir Khan; (http://www.facebook.com/teenagemutants)

The release gets completed by Nickolay Tsvetkov alias Nick Haze, a Producer, Remixer & DJ from Asenovgrad, Bulgaria. (Nickolay a.k.a Nick Haze), a young, promising artist who takes no compromises when combining his musical skills with his cultural heritage.

Dave has been known to frequent the hallowed decks of Oxford & London’s prestigious Slide events together with Kai-Zen’s Andy James, including the summer boat parties, and Out To Graze festivals.

Attending and playing at events in Oxford & London has help shape his DJing and production style, taking in House and Tech House on his way to the harder edged Techno that he favours today.

Getting the opportunity to experiment with his sound at the Kai-Zen parties accross London has led Dave into the studio to perfect his productions, with tracks taking influence from the different genres and styles he grew up with, his debut Remedy EP was picked up and released by Resopal Schallware in July 2011. Now regularly playing alongside fellow Kai-Zen resident Chris Page as Kontrol Room with an 8 deck Traktor setup.

Gare Mat K’s imprint debutant Dave Johnys, comes to the family with his brand new EP, featuring 3 original tracks of big techno rooms.

‘Canyon’ has the properly elements to be a great trippy techno boom, driving with strong bassline and danceable beat with a mental – infected key aimed straight to the dance floor. A perfect tool for high class tech and tech house DJ sets.

‘Chasm’ is a peak-time destroyer, taking the crowd within a sick rhythm of high claps along with acid notes, bringing a Detroit night experience.

‘Rift’ shows all its dance floor power by its infected basslead, Surrounded by sick athmosperes of wide efx and a notorious big room synth to explote the dance floor.

Three tech monster-tracks packaged in a perfect ep release !!

Closing this amazing and extensive presentation with more than 70 of the best talents part of Progrezo Records’ worldwide family, and based in the cities where night after night are making the electronic scene a single emblem and national flag with their best DJ skills, professionalism and unique style influenced by each country culture, the Progrezo Records team is pleased to present an emblematic city as icon of the global electronic-scene, Moscow, by its important contribution to the electronic music development and industry makers.

With a strong list of renowned DJ’s and producers, Moscow has been linked to the electronic music scene for several years, being an important reference point and stop for any kind of figure. Likewise it has provided an army of fans and music lovers to the global electronic movement, having already featured a wide variety of world’s recognized clubs and festivals.

Moscow is the major political, economic, cultural, scientific, religious, financial, educational, and transportation centre of Russia and the continent. Moscow is the northernmost city on Earth to have a population above 10,000,000, the most populous city in Europe, and the sixth largest city proper in the world. Based on Forbes 2011, Moscow had 79 billionaires, displacing New York City as the city with the greatest number of billionaires. Moscow is situated on the Moskva River in the Central Federal District of European Russia.

In the course of its history the city has served as the capital of a progression of states, from the medieval Grand Duchy of Moscow and the subsequent Tsardom of Russia to the Soviet Union. Moscow is the site of the Moscow Kremlin, an ancient fortress that is today the residence of the Russian President and of the executive branch of the Government of Russia.
Progrezo Records’ tenth installment in the Collector series comes from the capital and largest city of the Czech Republic, Prague.

Situated in the north-west of the country on the Vltava river, the city is home to about 1.3 million people, while its metropolitan area is estimated to have a population of over 2.3 million. The city has a temperate oceanic climate with warm summers and chilly winters.

Prague has been a cultural and economic centre of Europe and particularly central Europe during its 1,100 year existence. For centuries, during the Gothic and Renaissance eras, Prague was the permanent seat of two Holy Roman Emperors and thus was also the capital of the Holy Roman Empire. Later it was an important city in the Habsburg Monarchy and the Austro-Hungarian Empire, and after World War I became the capital of Czechoslovakia.

The city is home to a number of famous cultural attractions, many of which survived the violence and destruction of twentieth century Europe. Main attractions include the Prague Castle, the Charles Bridge, Old Town Square, the Jewish Quarter, the Lennon Wall, and Pet?ín hill. Since 1992, the extensive historic centre of Prague has been included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.

With a wide variety of tourism interestin and attractions, Prague has under its belt more than ten major museums, along with countless theatres, galleries, cinemas, and a wide variety of musicians and artists, being a main place for electronic music producers and enthusiasts, including electronic bands the likes of MAUT, Ievgeniy Kozlov and more.

Progrezo Records’ 07 installment in the Collector series from Prague, is pleased to present some of the most recognized and representative artists born/established in Checz Republic as known as Maut, Elina Testaverder and Ievgeniy Kozlov, Djs, musicians and singers who have been involved within the electronic music scene since early days with massive support.

Their music takes us in a journey of cinematic landscape, surrounded by suggestive atmospheres straight out of a fairy tale, accompanied by a subtle and angelic voice. Leisurely pace and minimal textures introduces us in a world of magic castles. Check it out !!

Next stops from Berlin, Rome, Paris and Moscow more. Stay tuned !!

Aka Soundsite was formed by Spanish’ Miguel Rey & Trevor Klap. After several independent years, they started to work as DJs & producers, combining their own styles and different work techniques, adapting that knowledge to many Electronics styles (Electro, Techno, Minimal, Tech-House and Club).

Occasionally performing live and developing some techniques for different styles, trying to advance within the electronics as most originally as possible, combining avant garde sounds. They have signed to labels the likes of Dirty Stuff, Gm Music Distributions, Sheeva and System Recordings where shared with James Holden, James Zabiela, Miss Kittin, Sasha, John Digweed and Josh Wink.

Their music has reached top #1 sells on Beatport, among other specialized music stores. Actually they are on a new face, more personal and defined for Akasoundsite (Modern Techno Fusion). Recently featured in Progrezo Records with massive support, the Spanish duo Akasoundsite is back with its brand new Radio Activity EP, featuring 3 original tracks of big techno room with sophisticated beats surrounded by evolving atmospheres.

‘Spectrum Sharing’ is a memorable track that the crowd can’t stop dancing. It delivers a high – tech – rhythm aimed straight to bomb the dance floor by its huge ambience with infected voice.

‘Variance’ delivers a trippy techno beat with dirty ambience powered by evolving cymbal-ride and cutted bass-drum, bringing a solid track for the techno lovers.

‘Critical’ features a sophisticated techno-beat, solid and full of tension to explote the dance floor with a sick drum-kick and infected bass line, it strips of neurons in a inexplicable manner.

In short, this package has all the qualities to be one of the new top charts into the modern techno movement. A huge release to watch and play !!

Happy Friday the thirteenth. Ionosonde recordings brings you three thirteen minute tracks with one, one minute track. 13 on the 13th. Good Luck!

A bird is different from a elephant. So is a octopus from a wolverine. Species tells the difference apart from animals and insects alike, but there are similarities that persists throughout the animal kingdom. Take the eyes for instance. Have you ever seen a person or animal with only one eye? No, every living organism has two or more eyes, four extremities, one mouth, and two ears. You see, every animal on this earth, even though looks and acts differently, has similarities. This is the concept of Telegraphy’s “Species” album. Every sound is reminiscent from the previous but is eerily distinctive, just like two or more eyes and so on.

“Species” by Telegraphy, is a slow dub techno, minimal/ambient album. These beat-less tracks, transports us to a world where unknown lifeforms dwell. Unknown but not different from us. All of the tracks titles in this album, your probably wondering, sound kind of strange or desolate, thats because they are names of undiscovered species. No, you won’t find then in any scientific journal any time soon. These species are not from this earth, they are names of alien beings. Greys, Reptilians, Mothman, call them what you will. They all have two eyes, two arms, and two feet. Just like us, different but the same. “Species” by Telegraphy, different but the same.

Its a new dawn, its a new year and Diametral Express (DREX) is back with a new design, decent fresh styled artworks and decent fresh styled electronic music. The start with the almost 10th release and his first single on DREX comes up with “Dubby Fridays” by spanish producer Oscar Aullon. A four track release with a very unique note and special dubby tech sounds for flying away. Easy listening for a higher state of consciousness.

No-Source is pleased to ring in the New Year and embrace 2012 with a release from Mark Ge. Mark Ge is a musician and writer from the North-Eastern United States. His first EP includes a collection of lo-fi bedroom recordings and one studio recording. Most of “Your Blues Are Rough” is just Mark Ge singing and playing guitar. The lo-fi quality really brings the listener and these tracks to a more intimate setting. “Brother” and “The Other Side” share a similar aural joy found in early tape recordings from the Mountain Goats. “Stephanie” on the other hand is eerily similar to Casiotone For The Painfully Alone with drum machine and simple synth melodies. “The Road”, the only studio recording on this release, sees a more polished sound and additional instrumentation from Mark. Additional production on tracks 1-3,5-6 by Tim Dwyer.

Our 48th release comes from Strom Noir (Hibernate, Resting Bell, Ambsine) and is titled “Music for the Succulents“. The ep consists of 3 tracks created mainly using loop pedals and acoustic guitars, although the last track “Desert in bloom” brings some gently distorted tunes made by its electric sister.

As the title prescribes, each track is somehow connected & dedicated to the one of the most beautiful plants of the world – the succulents.

And December ends with another new release by Saito Koji.

His follow-up to the earlier released album “Music” is called “Guide”. The eight tracks are 3 minutes long, the classical radio hit length. The music is very dense. Starting with very distorted, thick and layered sounds shifting to a clear and calmer atmosphere in the end. All pieces are rather short in the field of ambient or drone music but Saito filled the pieces with an enormous richness and concentration. Overtones are swirling around in your head, layer over layer of crackling noise is added to a this warm blanket of sounds.

Have a nice start in 2012 and farewell to a wonderfull 2011.

1. Alive
2. Anne
3. Bloom
4. Chorus

It is the third publication of the german techno producer and label co-founder B. Strehm under the project name “Funke7″. His latest work, “Days Of Orange Sunshine EP” convinces not only by the high quality, it is especially the abstract fantasy worlds paired with minimalistic techno aesthetics, that merge into a unique synthetic soundscape, including dance floor potential.

A very special treat are the two remixes, created by the collaboration with our friend and colleague, the swiss DJ and producer “THE WEB“. Like no other, it sees the tracks his personal unique touch to breathe, so that even the smallest lizard suddenly mutates into a monstrous fire breathing dragon. Another highlight is the participation of the Australian songwriter and singer “CXXXVI“. When it comes, to writing strange lyrics and refine electronic music with a fabulous voice, so they have already involved a great number. And precisely these strengths, not least the artistic talent of the duo and their joint project “THE WEB & CXXXVI” reflects the exclusive for this release produced music video.

The Machines don’t need the sun to survive
The Machines don’t need the sun to survive
Soon they will uprise
The sun will burn out and only the machines will remain
The sun will burn out and only the machines will remain
The machines don’t need the sun to survive
warm sunlight on cold mechanical faces
warm sunlight on cold mechanical faces
The Machines don’t need the sun to survive
The Machines don’t need the sun to survive
Soon they will uprise
Soon they will uprise
Say good bye to the Natural Sun
And hello to a Robotic one
The Machines don’t need the sun to survive
The Machines don’t need the sun to survive
Soon they will uprise
The sun will burn out and only the machines will remain

The sun is already shining but somehow you’ve managed to stay lucid. What a night! You grab a bite on the way to work, where the same old shit is waiting for you. But no biggie, even the neurotic manager deserves a smile today. You whistle some funky tunes from last night and tap your favorite breakbeats on the side of the keyboard with your fingers, while the hours go by. Back on the streets, that new sub you got for your car really pays off. Who cares about the traffic jam when those walking basslines sound so smooth? After a quick jam in the studio, you’re back at your place. The answering machine light is flashing: you – have – one – new – messages. You listen to her badly recorded voice asking where you’ve been and why you didn’t call. But no time for that now. You hit the road again, this time with your record bag hanging on your shoulder. The place is already full, all the familiar good old faces are there. A soft brass passage emerges from the vinyl crackle, the singer starts humming a tune, singing about a long lost love, people are dancing their worries away and finally you feel at home. Here we go again…
